We were very happy at the Hanoi Happy Hotel and the staff were very
helpful. It is comfortable, quiet with double glazed windows and modern.
We especialy enjoyed the location between the old and the French
quaters and just a couple of blocks from Lake Hoan Kiem. I meant it was
easy to walk with kids to the lake, the water puppets, museums in the
French quater and restaurants. Breakfasts were great and at the new
Namaste Hanoi Indian restaurant diagonally across the road from the
hotel I had one of the best Indian meals I have had anywhere. There are
is also a small supermarket and pharmacies nearby as well as all the
street stalls. Three of us had haircuts across the road at the very
friendly hair dressers too.
The in room laptop computer was also very useful.
